Porto Pollo, today back to its original name "Porto Puddu" is situated on the north-east coast of Sardinia. It belongs to the territory of Palau in the area called Gallura.

The location is easily reachable from:

Olbia harbour (45 km) with the ferry companies:

• Tirrenia (to and from Genoa and Civitavecchia)
• Mobylines (to and from Genoa, Civitavecchia and Livorno)
• Grimaldi con le Grandi Navi Veloci (to and from Genoa)
• Lloyd Sardegna (to and from Piombino and Livorno)

Golfo Aranci harbour (48 km) with the ferry companies:

• Tirrenia (to and from Fiumicino)
• Sardinia Ferries (to and from Civitavecchia and Livorno);

Palau harbour (6 km) with the ferry companies:

• Linee T.R.I.S. (to and from Genoa)
• Linee Lauro (to and from Naples);

Porto Torres harbour (120 km) with the ferry companies:

• Tirrenia (to and from Genoa)
• Grimaldi - Grandi Navi Veloci (to and from Genoa)

Olbia - Costa Smeralda airport (45 km) and Alghero Fertilia airport (150 km) with the following flight companies:

• Meridiana
• Alitalia
• AirOne
• Lufthansa
• RyanAir

A car is highly recommended as public transportation is practically inexistent

A rental car can already be reserved in your place (p.e. Avis, Hertz, Maggiore, etc.) to be delivered in one of the above-mentioned airports or harbours or, alternatively, there are numerous local companies to hire your car on the spot.
